Dress Up Day - Friday 25th October 2024
Pupils and staff dressed up for Halloween on Friday 25th October 2024. They also raised some money for the PTA and had a walk around the campus.
KiVA Launch Day - Wednesday 16th October 2024
St. David's National School became an official KiVa School on Wednesday 16th October 2024. This programme is launched to help stop bullying in schools. The pupils did drawings to show kindness and performed songs for the parents.

Also on this day to help launch KiVa Day, we had special visitors from the Garda unit, Civil Defence Search & Rescue and St. John's Ambulance. The pupils had a great time seeing the different equipment and trying them out. Below is a section of photos taken on the day.

SNA APPRECIATION DAY - Thursday 26th September 2024
"HATS OFF" TO OUR FANTASIC SNAS IN ST. DAVID'S NATIONAL SCHOOL WHO WORK SO HARD, ALWAYS WITH A SMILE AND SUCH KINDNESS WITH OUR PUPILS. WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A SUPER GROUP. OUR SNAS ARE MARIE, JULIE, LEANNE, CLAIRE, NIAMH AND VERONICA.
Soak the Principal and Rector
On Friday 21st June 2024 at the end of Sports Day, we had "Soak the Principal and Rector" fund raising event. Each classroom had a large bottle to fill with money. The classroom with the most money raised got to soak the Principal and Rector. 1st and 2nd Class were the winners. A huge thanks to Louise Gillespie, Principal and Rev. Craig McCauley, Rector for being great sports and putting themselves forward for the fund raising event. The money raised will be put towards resources for the pupils. Sports Day - Friday 21st June 2024
The school held its annual sports day on Friday 21st June 2024 to mark the end of "Active Weeks". During the 2 weeks the pupils took part in an Archaeology Dig, Dance, Zumba, Science Workshops, School tours, Cycling, Playball, Fit Fun and Tennis. The pupils loved all the different activities, had great fun and there was something for everyone to enjoy too. Some photos from our sports day below.

Cill Dara Le Gaeilge Competition Winners
On Wednesday 29th May 2024 - 2 students were presented with prizes from Sarah Walsh from Cill Dara Le Gaeilge after taking part in an Irish competition. The winners are Arthur in 5th Class and Kayla in 1st Class.
Dance Moves - Friday 17th May 2024
The classes did dance with Shanua from Infinity Movement for 6 weeks. All the classes showed off their dance moves for their families and school staff on Friday 17th May 2024. The pupils loved the dance classes and had great fun with Shauna. Check out the videos and photographs below.
